i like 15. atomic number for the element phosphorus, highly reactive. name derives from an old greek word that means 'light bringer'.

white phosphorus is pyrophoric meaning it's volatile and can combust when it contacts w/air. it can glow when it consumes oxygen too, a process called chemiluminescence.

but other forms of it help plants to grow, and it's essential to life.
